Candidates must have a degree in B.Sc.(Hons.) / B.Sc. with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry as a major subject, from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

Integrated/Dual Degree B.Sc.-M.Sc. (Forensic Science) 

Passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board/ University in Science(Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics) with minimum 50% aggregate marks. 

DOCTORAL PROGRAMME

Ph.D. in Physics 

The candidate should have a postgraduate degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, in a respective discipline, with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale. They are required to supply a brief statement of research interests (maximum 1 page) Research experience like project work or internships at the undergraduate or master’s level should be highlighted. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-NET or GATE examination will be preferred  

Ph.D. in Mathematics 

The candidate should have a postgraduate degree or its equivalent from a recognized University, in a respective discipline, with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale.
